Studio Hours
Strings and Keys Music Studio is a home studio open for scheduled lessons Monday - Friday between 9am - 8pm at either studio location, online, or at your home. Lessons are available for additional fee outside of studio hours.
Lessons Schedule
The lesson time is reserved student when they sign up, with the understanding that we will have a lesson each week at that time. If a permanent conflict arises with this lesson time, please feel free to contact to discuss alternate arrangements. I am happy to work with you to ensure a weekly lesson time that complements both of our schedules. When student have not attended for 3 consecutive lessons without notifying the teacher, their reserved spot will automatically become available for other students.
Location (At studio or online)
Depends on which lessons students sign up for, lessons will provide either at the studio location, or link to online lessons. Note that Strings and Keys Music Studio is located in Lakewood, WA. Address will not be given out until the first lesson is prepaid and scheduled.
Traveling surcharge for Lessons at Your Home
Teacher offers lessons at your home. The price for lessons at your home applies only during non-traffic hour. Surcharge will be determined by teacher when scheduling lessons. Starting travel fee of $25 include a 8 miles of driving distance from studio location, additional traveling fee may apply based on distance and traveling time.
Payment
Lessons are prepaid, payment is due at the end of every 4 lessons (or monthly). This way student will have a secured and reserved spot for their weekly lessons. Payment can be made through in person (Cash, check, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, Google Pay).
- $5 extra per lesson if student choose to pay per lesson. Spot will not be reserved.
Cancellations/Makeup Lessons
Lessons are non-refundable, please ensure notify teacher if needed to cancel or reschedule lesson.
Cancellations or makeup lessons are allowed when teacher is notified 24 hours prior lesson.
In the event that a student anticipates an absence, student may notify the teacher by phone, text, or email.
In case of emergency, please contact teacher as soon as possible.
Makeup lessons are not available if student did not show up for lesson.
All makeup lessons must occur within 30 days from the original scheduled lesson. Please contact for rescheduling availability.
Material
Students are required to have their own copy of books or songs, that way teacher can ensure that students are able to learn at practice outside of their lessons. Please contact teacher if you have questions about which material to get. It is also highly recommended that student brings a notebook to their lessons so both student and teacher can keep track on what they have learned during the lesson, and what is needed to practice.
Pricing
Pricing for lessons may change throughout the year. Teacher will honor the initial price for the lessons for at least 1 year upon sign up.
Pricing is same for all ages and levels.
Strings and Keys Music Studio does not offer special rate or accept financial aids of any kind.
